EROS Goes Direct. Astrology 2007.

After retrograding since May, the 27, the asteroid number 433, Eros, goes Direct in the sky, at 5 degrees Capricorn.

This means that Desire is back especially for those with planets in Capricorn.

"Eros, God of Erotic Love represents the principle of passionate desire" (according to Demetra George, author of the book "Asteroid Goddesses").
"Mythologically, Eros was a primal, phallic god born out of Chaos at the beginning of time. Embodying the masculine sexual force, he served as the generative masculine power which brought the world into creation. Thus, he manifested as the son of Mars and Venus in the later Olympic pantheon.

In classical Greece, Eros became a patron of homosexual Love and can be one indicator of sexual preference. Beyond sexuality, Eros passion is experienced as simply "whatever turns you on" excites or arouses.
Hence, Eros by transit is a timer of sexual activity.
If Eros is transiting your Sun or your Venus for example then you should get more sexually excited than usual.
Planetary contacts indicate that the individual will be "turned on" by the aspected planet.
For example, with Eros-Ceres, the passion is food; Eros-Uranus loves astrology; Eros-Saturn is excited by work (well...that's my case...).
In synastry, Eros aspects signify sexual compatibility and the reciprocation of passion". I have noticed that Eros/Jupiter conjunctions are very powerful for example in synastry, such as Eros/ Venus conjunctions.
Eros will stay in Capricorn until November, the 13.
